Hanwha Vision, a global provider of IP and analog video surveillance solutions, has announced the introduction of their latest innovation, the SolidEDGE serverless camera system. This advanced system incorporates onboard Solid State Drive (SSD) storage and an embedded WAEV VMS server, offering a cloud-managed solution for efficient, scalable, and cost-effective surveillance.
Designed to meet the needs of security operations requiring multi-camera recording, remote access, and on-premise security system management, the SolidEDGE camera system provides a practical and flexible approach. It consists of two models: the PNV-A6081R-E1T with a 1TB onboard storage capacity, and the PNV-A6081R-E2T with a 2TB capacity. Each camera can connect and record up to five additional cameras, allowing for a total of six cameras within a single system.
A key feature of the SolidEDGE system is its scalability, enabling organizations, particularly smaller operations with multiple locations, to customize and expand their surveillance systems based on their specific requirements. With WAVE Sync, up to 30 SolidEDGE systems can be merged, ensuring regular software and security updates to keep the systems up-to-date.
In terms of security and reliability, the SolidEDGE serverless camera system offers enhanced features. The built-in SSD provides high-speed and reliable storage for video data, while advanced cybersecurity measures such as TPM 2.0 certification, Device Certificate, Secure OS/boot/storage, and Verified FW forgery protection ensure robust data security.
Furthermore, the SolidEDGE cameras are designed to withstand various weather conditions. Equipped with a built-in AIR vent, they effectively control water vapor to prevent condensation and maintain optimal performance. This feature also safeguards the internal components and seals from damage and stress, ensuring long-term durability.
